DiMarco was the runner-up in a field of 80 at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate Feb. 26-28 in Los Cabos, Mexico. He shot under par in all three rounds (67-70-68) to finish at 8-under and just one shot behind individual champion Corey Pereira of Washington. The junior carded his third Top 10 performance as a Bull, and led USF to a seventh-place finish as a team. American Men’s Golf Notebook: UCF • Sophomore Kyler Tate tied for ninth leading UCF to a third place finish at the John Hayt Collegiate Feb. 24-26 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla…It was the second Top 10 finish for Tate as a Knight. • UCF is off for nearly a month before returning to action Mar. 24-26 at the FAU Slomin Autism Invitational. UConn • Senior Eric Dietrich and sophomore Nabeel Khan led a final-round charge that lifted UConn to a come-from-behind victory in the Loyola Intercollegiate on Feb. 27…It was UConn's fourth Top 5 finish in six events this year. • UConn will compete at the Colleton River Collegiate Mar. 6-7 in Bluffton, South Carolina. East Carolina • East Carolina finished action at The Hayt on Feb. 26 by finishing 10th, shooting a three-day total of 899…Rookie Patrick Stephenson led the way with a Top 15 finish. • The Pirates will return to action March 6-7 at the Cleveland Golf Palmetto Intercollegiate in Aiken, S.C. Houston • The Cougars posted a three-day total of 868 to finish 11th at the Querencia Cabo Collegiate on Feb. 27…Michael Perras led Houston and finished among Top 20 leaders with a 2-under 211. • Houston next hosts the Border Olympics March 10-11 at Laredo Country Club in Laredo, Texas.
