Highlights
- A five-run fifth inning led East Carolina to a 9-4 win over Duke. Charlie Yorgen (2-for-5) and Luke Bolka (1-for-4) both had two RBIs for the Pirates.
- Memphis scored 13 runs on 13 hits in its win over Mississippi Valley State. Trent Turner went 2-for-5 with three RBIs and scored two runs for the Tigers.
- In UCF’s six-run fourth inning the Knights scored runs off of three bases loaded walks and a hit by pitch as well as a two-RBI single by Rylan Thomas. The Knights scored four in the fifth with a home run from Bryce Peterson and a triple by Kyle Marsh.
- Houston won its midweek matchup with McNeese State due in part because of Jake Scheiner’s five RBIs with two home runs. Scheiner is the last Cougar to have two home runs in a game since Joe Davis hit two against Baylor on March 6, 2016.
