Highlights
- Zac Susi’s two-out, two-run double in the eighth inning gave UConn the comeback 2-1 win over Seton Hall to begin the three-game set with the Pirates. The UConn pitching staff held Seton Hall to just three hits on the afternoon.
- Cincinnati started its series with Northern Kentucky scoring nine runs on nine hits. A.J. Bumpass went 2-for-5 with a double and a triple and a team leading four RBIs.
- East Carolina got three RBIs from both Charlie Yorgen (3-for-4) and Eric Tyler (3-for-4) as the Pirates earned a 9-4 victory over Towson.
- Luke Borders finished with three RBIs and scored two runs as USF exploded for eight runs in the seventh inning on route to an 11-1 series opening win against Florida A&M.
- Memphis beat Southern behind home runs from Brandon Grudzielanek (1-for-4, 3 RBI) and Trent Turner (3-for-5, 2 RBI). The Tigers outhit the Jaguars 14 to nine.
- Lex Kaplan drove in four runs, including a go-ahead RBI single in the eighth inning to lift Tulane to a 7-6 win over Southern. Kaplan also hit a three-run home run earlier in the game.
- Houston beat UC Irvine as Jared Triolo delivered an RBI single in the top of the ninth to give the Cougars a one-run lead. Triolo had his first four-hit game of his career finishing 4-for-5 with two RBIs.
