PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly outdoor track and field honors for the week ending March 26.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Amere Lattin • So. • Houston • Missouri City, Texas
Lattin won his second straight Male Track Athlete of the Week, this time in the 110m hurdles at the Victor Lopez Classic. Lattin finished second in the event with a time of 13.91, which is the top time in the conference and the sixth best time in the nation.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Holly Archer • Sr. • SMU • Bury Saint Edmonds, England
Archer has been named Female Track Athlete of the Week because of her performance in the 800m at the Bobby Lane Invitational. Archer won the 800m in a time of 2:09.26, which leads the conference and is 11
th in the NCAA. Archer was also on the first-place 4x400 meter relay team.

Jordan Wesner • So. • Memphis • Princeton, Wis.
Wesner has been named Male Field Athlete of the Week after winning the high jump at the Joe Walker Invitational. Wesner won his third high jump title of his career clearing 2.16m. That mark is the top in The American and the seventh best in the NCAA.

Burks has been named Female Field Athlete of the Week after her performance in the triple jump at the Victor Lopez Classic. Burks broke the school record in the triple jump with a distance of 13.23m. Burks’ mark is first in the conference and second in the NCAA.
