Highlights
- USF is off to its best start in program history after an 8-1 win over Villanova. Kevin Merrell went 4-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI.
- East Carolina overcame a 12-7 deficit with a seven-run sixth inning to sweep a two game set against the College of Charleston. Turner Brown had a grand slam in the sixth inning and Spencer Brickhouse had two home runs in the game.
- Cincinnati walked off against Kentucky in 10 innings after a throwing error from Kentucky’s third baseman led to Eric Santiago scoring the winning run. A.J. Olasz went 6.2 shutout innings only allowing two hits and striking out two in a no decision.
- Houston beat Prairie View A&M 8-0 as Jake Scheiner and Grayson Padgett each had three RBIs for the Cougars. Starter Trey Cumbie (1-0) earned the win going six innings and striking out nine batters.
