- Memphis beat Cincinnati 7-5 to win its first series against the Bearcats since 2004. The Tigers scored four runs in the first inning and Chris Carrier hit a two-run home run in the eighth inning for Memphis. Joey Thomas led Cincinnati at the plate going 2-for-3 with three RBIs.

- UConn swept East Carolina behind a strong start from Mason Feole. Feole (4-0) picked up the win tossing seven innings, only allowing one run on five hits and striking out six batters. Willy Yahn led the Huskies going 2-for-5 with an RBI as UConn took advantage of five East Carolina errors. Wes Phillips had the lone RBI for East Carolina.

- USF matched its win total from last season with a 7-5 win over Tulane. The Bulls scored five runs in the top of the third and hung on to beat the Green Wave. David Villar led USF with three RBIs and Joe Genord and two RBIs and hit his fifth home run. Kobi Owen led Tulane with two RBIs and Hunter Williams led the Green Wave with two hits.

- Eli Putnam and Kyle Marsh each drove in two runs for UCF as the Knights won their series against Houston taking game three 6-1. The Knights broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fifth with three runs and added two more in the seventh for the final margin. Corey Julks went 2-for-4 with a triple for the Cougars.
