PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference is gearing up for its Men’s Golf Championship at Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla. The three-day event, hosted by The American and USF, will take place this Sunday through Tuesday, Apr. 23-25.
Play on the par-71, 7,125-yard Copperhead Course will begin at 8 a.m. ET with 18 holes each of the three days. An awards presentation will take place following the final round on Tuesday. Admission to the event is free and open to the public, and live scoring can be found through

The American Digital Network (ADN) will have live coverage of the 18th hole during the final round of the championship beginning at Noon ET on Tuesday. Once competition is complete, the ADN will carry the awards ceremony, as well as player and coaches interviews.
The event will feature nine American teams, three of which are ranked among the nation’s Top 60 according to the latest Golfstat rankings announced on April 19. UCF (No. 45) is the league’s highest-rated team followed by Houston (No. 54) and USF (No. 56).
UConn has three wins this year to lead the conference while UCF has two wins. Four American teams (Cincinnati, East Carolina, USF and Temple) have one win apiece.
Individually, Pirates junior Tim Conover leads The American with two wins. Bearcats sophomore Austin Squires is tops in the league with four Top 5 finishes this season. Michael Perras (Houston) leads the field with six Top 20 finishes.
The Bulls are two-time conference champions. They won last year’s event by 20 strokes over second-place Memphis while individual champion Aksel Olsen (USF) carded a 7-under 209 to earn medalist honors.
