PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly outdoor track and field honors for the week ending April 23.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Raymond Kibet • Fr. • Tulane •
Kibet earned his first-career Male Track Athlete of the Week award after his performance in the 400m at the LSU Alumni Gold over the weekend. Kibet finished with a time of 45.78 which is second in the conference behind his top time of 45.67. His time would also put him 14th in the NCAA this season.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Anne-Marie Blaney • Sr. • UCF • Ocala, Fla.
Blaney has been named Female Track Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week after winning the 10,000m race at the Cardinal Classic over the weekend. Blaney broke a school record with a time of 33.18.81 and leads the conference by almost two minutes. Blaney also ranks fourth in the NCAA in the 10,000m this season.

Macklin Tudor • Sr. • Cincinnati • Mount Orab, Ohio
Tudor won his fourth-straight Male Field Athlete of the Week award after his performance at the Jesse Owens Classic in the discus and the shot put. Tudor won the discus with a mark of 60.65m, just behind his own conference leading mark and seventh in the NCAA this year, and finished third in the shot put, increasing his mark this season to the 18.81m, also second in the conference on the season.

Pryke takes home her second Female Field Athlete of the Week award after winning her fifth javelin title of the season at the Red Wolves Open. Pryke broke her own school record with a conference-leading throw of 54.09m and is fifth in the NCAA this season with that mark.
