- Cincinnati overcame a four-run deficit to beat Miami (Ohio) 8-6. Treg Haberkorn went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and Jace Mercer was 3-for-5 at the plate, also driving in a run. Nathan Kroger (2-0) picked up the win throwing 5.2 innings in relief only allowing two runs on six hits.
