- Memphis pounded out 14 hits and scored 18 runs against Alcorn State. Tyler Webb (2-for-5), Alec Trela (2-for-4) and Carlos Williams (1-for-3) all hit home runs with Williams hitting an inside-the-park home run. Eight of the nine starters for the Tigers had hits and all nine starters crossed the plate and drove in at least one run.

- UCF beat Stetson 5-3 as the Knights held off a Stetson rally late. UCF took 2-0 lead early off a two-run home run from Logan Heiser. Eli Putnam went 2-for-3 for the Knights with two RBI doubles. Thaddeus Ward (3-0) picked up the win and Bryce Tucker earned his seventh save of the year.

- UConn fell to Hartford in its home opener, surrendering five runs in the top of the sixth to the Hawks. Willy Yahn went 2-for-4 with an RBI, hitting his first home run of the season. Zac Susi and John Toppa also had two hits for the Huskies.
