- Cincinnati got home runs from R.J. Thompson and Ryan Noda to earn a 9-4 win over Western Carolina. Thompson led the Bearcats offense going 3-for-3 with three RBIs to go along with his home run. Joey Thomas was the only other Bearcat with multiple hits, finishing 2-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.

- East Carolina swept the two-game season series with a 5-1 win at home against Duke. The Pirates used a four-run fourth inning that saw RBI singles from Turner Brown and Dwanya Williams-Sutton and back-to-back bases loaded hit batters to take control of the game.
