PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly outdoor track and field honors for the week ending April 30.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Eli Hall • Jr. • Houston • Katy, Texas
Eli Hall earned Male Track Athlete of the Week after winning the 100-meter dash at the Penn Relays over the weekend. Hall’s time of 10.00 was the fastest in the conference and sixth fastest in the nation this season. He also earned the Penn Relays Individual Athlete of the Meet Award for his performance.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

Chavez won her first Female Track Athlete of the Week award of her career after winning both the 100m and 200m at the Memphis Invitational. Chavez’s times in the 100m (11.45) and the 200m (23.32) are both the third fastest times in the conference this season. Chavez also broke the school record in the 200m and was a member of the winning 4x400m relay team.

Macklin Tudor • Sr. • Cincinnati • Mount Orab, Ohio
Tudor has been named Male Field Athlete for the fifth-straight week after once again breaking his conference leading mark in the discus. Tudor won the championship division in the discus at the Penn Relays with a throw of 63.54m, which is second in the NCAA this season. With the throw, Tudor qualified for the USA Nationals. He also posted the second best mark in the conference in the shot put, throwing 18.85m.

Alyssa Applebee • RS-Sr. • Tulane • Seneca, Ill.
Applebee takes home her first Female Field Athlete of the Week in the outdoor track and field season. Applebee broke the school record in the pole vault with a clearance of 4.27m, which is the top mark in the conference and 16th in the NCAA this season.
