Rob Gray Invited to Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp

HOUSTON – University of Houston senior guard Rob Gray has been invited to join the prestigious CP3 Elite Guard Camp in North Carolina on Aug. 6-9.

Gray will be one of 20 collegiate student-athletes serving as counselors with 9-time NBA All-Star and new Houston Rocket guard Chris Paul for some of the top high school point guards in the country in Winston-Salem, N.C.

During the three-day camp, Gray will work with Paul, the counselors and some of the game’s top instructors to teach the high school stars how to compete at the NCAA Division I and NBA levels while handling their off-court responsibilities.

Gray is one of three starters and five lettermen returning for the Cougars in 2017-18. He led the Cougars and The American with 20.6 points per game, becoming Houston’s first conference scoring champion since Aubrey Coleman led the nation in 2009-10.

For his impressive efforts all season, the Forest City, N.C., native was an All-American Athletic Conference First Team selection and named to the USBWA All-District VII Team.
