Highlights
UCF topped North Carolina 4/8 in double overtime 2-1 Friday night. Freshman forward Dina Orschmann scored the equalizer at the 32 minute mark, while the Knight’s defense did its part to force the match to double overtime. Christine Creighton’s golden goal at 104:32 sealed the win for the UCF.
 
ECU’s women’s soccer team defeated Davidson on the road 2-1. Annah Lindberg recorded her first multi-goal game. She found the back of the net three minutes into the second half to lift ECU 1-0, then again at the 48th minute mark. 
 
The University of Connecticut 21/RV women’s soccer team dropped a 0-1 decision against Yale in its first game of the season.
 
Temple fell to Saint Joseph’s 0-2 Friday night. Jordan Nash played 90’ between the posts and collected seven saves.
 
Tulsa women’s soccer team lost 0-2 to Kansas Friday at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Complex.  The Golden Hurricane’s senior forward, Rachel Thun-Blankenship lead the team in shots (3).
