ECU’s freshman Cashlin Copley scored her first career goal in a 1-0 win over Towson Sunday afternoon. The Pirates start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2009 while handing the Tigers their first loss of the year.
The Memphis women’s soccer team topped UAB 2-1 Sunday night in double overtime at Mike Rose Soccer Complex. Catherine Levasseur scored the first goal of the game for the Tigers, while Marie Levasseur scored the game-winner for Memphis in double overtime play. The Tigers improve to 3-0-0 on the season.
