24/- came back from a 0-1 defecit to top Arizona
RV/- 2-1 at the Sun Devil Desert Classic in Tempe, Ariz. Friday night. Kayla Adamek equalized the score in the 77th minute, while freshman Madison Murnin's game-winning goal came at the 85' mark. The Knights led the match in shots (19-9) and in shots on goal (7-3).
Memphis
RV/24 recorded its third shutout of the season with a 6-0 win against Rhode Island. Four Tigers got on board Friday night at the Music City Invitational in Nashville, Tenn. Marie Levasseur scored first, her second-straight match connecting between the posts for Memphis. Elizabeth Woerner and Mikayla Morton each scored twice, while Samantha Murphy added to the final score of the match, earning her first career goal as a Tiger.
Tulsa defeated Utah Valley 1-0 Friday afternoon at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium to move to 1-3-1 on the season. Tana Dake scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute from a cross made by Rachel Thun-Blankenship.
UConn dropped its match against St. Johns (N.Y.) in a 0-1 decision at the Central Connecticut Tournament Friday. The Huskies generated more scoring opportunities than the Red Storm leading 6-1 in corner kicks and 13-6 in shots. Freshman Yamilee Eveillard and junior Vivien Beil led UConn with three shots each.
