PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly indoor track and field honors for the week ending January 21.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Elijah Hall * Sr. * Houston * Katy, Texas
Hall earns his second straight weekly conference honor following another top-five national performance over the weekend. The senior sprinter placed first in the 200-meter dash at the Mark Colligan Memorial, clocking a time of 20.76. His mark ranks No. 4 in the NCAA to go along with his current No. 2 national time in the 60-meter dash.

Hannah Miller * So. * SMU * Invercargill, New Zealand
Miller broke SMU’s school record in the 3000-meter run with her time of 9:26.62 at the Vanderbilt Invitational on Saturday. Miller won the race, as her mark ranks No. 1 in The American and No. 21 in the nation.

Adrian Valles * Sr. * Cincinnati * Pamplona, Spain
Valles briefly led all pole vaulters in the nation after clearing a height of 5.61 meters (18' 4.75") to break his own school record by 0.01 meters and capture first place at the Notre Dame Invitational. Valles joins Hall in picking up a second consecutive weekly league award. His performance ranks first in The American and No. 2 in the country.

Loretta Blaut * Sr. * Cincinnati * Cincinnati, Ohio
Blaut brought home a first-place finish for the Bearcats after clearing a height of 1.82 meters (5' 11.5") in the high jump at the Notre Dame Invitational. Blaut won her third straight meet and posted a season-best clearance for the second week in a row. Her height is No. 1 in the conference and No. 9 in the NCAA, while it ties the ninth-best clearance in Cincinnati history.
