Tulane, Cincinnati, Temple Players Take Final Weekly Honors of 2018

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly football honors for the final week of the college football regular season.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Justin McMillan • Tulane • Gr. • QB • Cedar Hill, Texas
McMillan led Tulane to a 29-28 win against Navy to put give the Green Wave bowl eligibility for the first time since 2013. He finished the game with 342 yards of total offense as he completed 18 of 29 passes for 291 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 51 yards and a TD on eight carries. McMillan engineered the game-winning drive in the final minutes of the fourth quarter as he led a seven-play, 71-yard scoring drive capped by his 26-yard touchdown pass as well as the game-winning two-point conversion pass.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Arquon Bush • Cincinnati • Fr. • CB • Euclid, Ohio
Bush led a Cincinnati defense that limited ECU to six points, 303 total yards and five turnovers in a 56-6 win. Bush had a hand in three of the five takeaways as he had a fumble recovery and two interceptions, including a 36-yard pick-six in the fourth quarter.
 
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Isaiah Wright • Temple • Jr. • WR • West Hartford, Conn.
Wright had 138 all-purpose yards to help Temple to a 57-7 win against UConn. Wright turned in his second consecutive game with a special teams touchdown as he took a first-quarter kickoff return 99 yards for a score. It was the second touchdown of the game for Wright who had also scored on an 18-yard run to give Temple an early lead.
 
HONOR ROLL
Greg McCrae • UCF • So. • RB
Completed 13 of 25 passes for 268 yards and three  touchdowns and added a rushing TD in a 38-13 win against No. 19 Cincinnati, the Knights’ 23rd straight victory.
 
Khalil Lewis • Cincinnati • Sr. • WR
Had nine receptions for 203 yards and three touchdowns in a 56-6 win against ECU.
 
Darrell Henderson • Mmephis • Jr. • RB
Rushed for 178 yards and two touchdowns on 24 carries in a 52-31 win against Houston to clinch The American’s West Division title.
 
Cooper Edmiston • Tulsa • Jr. • LB
Had 10 tackles and his fourth interception of the season in a 27-24 win against SMU.
 
Keylon Stokes • Tulsa • So. • WR
Had six receptions for 140 yards and finished with 191 all-purpose yards in a 27-24 win against SMU.
