Thirteen American Players Named All-Region by United Soccer Coaches

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference placed 13 men's soccer players on the All-East Region teams, as selected and announced by United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday, Dec. 5.

The conference dominated the list, with seven of the 13 honorees named to the First Team. Regular-season champion UCF led the way with five honorees, with UConn placing four. Conference champion SMU earned two honors, with Memphis and USF seeing one representative each.

UConn's Abdou Mbacke Thiam and Jacob Hauser-Ramsey along with UCF's Yoni Sorokin repeated as All-Region selections, with all seven First Team recipients earning the first such honor of their careers.
