Junior Kitija Laksa tied the American Athletic Conference single-game record in USF’s 84-65 victory over No. 13/13 Ohio State on Sunday, registering a career-high 41 points including eight 3-pointers. Sunday’s win marked the Bulls’ first win over a top-15 opponent since Feb. 20, 2013. For the week, Laksa averaged 33.0 points per game, coupling Sunday’s performance with Wednesday’s 25-point outing against ECU. For the week, she went 25-of-44 (56.8 percent) from the floor, including 13-of-24 (54.2 percent) from beyond the arc.

Freshman IImar’I Thomas collected her conference-best fifth Freshman of the Week accolade following Cincinnati’s 2-0 week. She averaged 16.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game, and led the Bearcats with 18 points in Saturday’s 83-52 win over Tulane. On Wednesday, Thomas put forth 14 points and five boards en route to her team’s 75-69 win at Wichita State. She currently leads The American with her 62.6 field goal percentage.

Poured in a career-high 26 points including five 3-pointers against Wichita State on Wednesday, and followed on Saturday with 15 points, four assists and four steals in Saturday’s win against Tulane. For the week, Goings averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 2.0 assists

Averaged 20.5 points per game on 13-of-21 (61.9 percent) shooting from the field in the Huskies’ 2-0 week. Samuelson scored 19 points and snagged six boards while dishing out five assists at UCF on Wednesday before registering 22 points (on 7-of-9 shooting) and nine assists versus Wichita State on Saturday

Put forth a well-rounded slate in the Cougars’ 1-1 week, averaging 22.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game. She posted 19 points and assisted on six baskets to go along with six rebounds in Houston’s 66-55 win over Memphis, before registering a career-high 26 points at Tulsa on Saturday

Led SMU with 28 points on Wednesday for her ninth 20-plus point performance so far on the season, adding in five rebounds including four offensive boards. On Saturday, she scored 10 points and matcher her career-high with seven rebounds as the Mustangs defeated Memphis to complete the 2-0 week

In Tulsa’s key conference victory over Houston on Saturday, Dickson led all scorers with 29 points on 10-of-17 (58.8 percent) shooting from the field while recording seven rebounds. For Tulsa’s 1-1 week, she averaged 22.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals per game with a 50.0 field goal percentage
