Single Session Tickets for Women's Basketball Championship Now Available

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Individual session tickets for the 2018 American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship are now on sale.
 
The championship will take place March 3-6, 2018, and for the fifth-consecutive year will be played at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
 
Individual session tickets are priced as follows:

Tickets are available for purchase at the Mohegan Sun Box Office daily between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. and will be available through the ticket offices of all 12 American Athletic Conference institutions. Tickets can also be purchased online through Ticketmaster. Ticketmaster customers may log on to Ticketmaster.com or call Ticketmaster’s national toll-free Charge By Phone number 1-800-745-3000.
 
Ticket packages, which include admission to all four days of competition – a total of 11 games – remain available for $99 each, nearly one-third of the face value of individual session tickets. Information on discounts for groups of 10 or more people is available through the Connecticut Sun Group Sales Department at (860) 862-4000.
 
All 12 American Athletic Conference teams will compete in the 2018 championship, including three teams that reached the 2017 NCAA Championship of six that played in the postseason. UConn won its fourth-straight American Athletic Conference title last year en route to the Final Four, while USF and Temple also reached the NCAA field. UCF, SMU and Tulane all played in the WNIT. Wichita State will be competing in its first American championship in the Shockers’ inaugural conference season.
 
In addition to hosting The American Women’s Basketball Championship, Mohegan Sun Arena is home to two major sport franchises, the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun and Black Wolves Lacrosse. The 10,000-seat arena has hosted championship boxing, college and professional men’s and women’s basketball, Davis Cup tennis, professional bull-riding and professional bowling. The WNBA All-Star Game has been played at Mohegan Sun Arena four times and the WNBA Draft has been held at the arena three times.
 
Mohegan Sun Arena is now ranked consistently among the top venues in the world according to Billboard Magazine, Pollstar and Venues Today. It has won “Casino of The Year” at the Country Music Awards in 2008 & 2010 and in 2013, was voted “Arena Of The Year” at the G2E Global Gaming Conference in Las Vegas.  Mohegan Sun Arena was also ranked among the top 10 arena venues in the nation for 2014, regardless of size. In 2015, Mohegan Sun took home the IEBA award for “Casino of the Year.”  Mohegan Sun also won “Casino of the Year” in 2 categories at the 2013 & 2016 Academy of Country Music Awards.
