PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Houston sophomore Pryce Beshoory earned his first career American Athletic Conference men's golfer of the week honor, the conference announced on Thursday. Beshoory won the Colin Montgomerie Invitational on Feb. 26-27.
Playing as an individual, Beshoory shot three straight rounds under par on the Dunes Course at the Prairie Club to fire a 12-under par score (69-67-68 – 204) over the 54-hole event.
At the Querencia Cabo Collegiate, Beshoory fired a 71 in his first round before finishing in a tie for 45
th in the field.
The Cougars will next be in action on March 9-10, competing at the Border Olympics at Laredo Country Club in Laredo, Texas.
