PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Memphis senior Emily Goldenstein earned her second career American Athletic Conference women's golfer of the week honor it was announced Thursday. Goldenstein turned in a runner-up finish at the River Landing Classic in North Carolina, Tuesday.
Goldenstein tied her career low with a 213 over 54 holes at the River Landing Classic after firing a 69 in her first and third rounds.
This is the second weekly career honor for Goldenstein. She first won the award as a freshman in the spring of 2015 after finishing second at the Bearcat Spring Classic. She is the second Lady Tiger in as many weeks to win the award after Madison Thomas captured the award last week.
Memphis has two regular season tournaments remaining. The team will participate in the 3M Augusta Invitational Mar. 16-18.
