USF 12, Villanova 1
USF (14-12) power-hit in a 12-1 victory over Villanova (4-8) that included a pair of home runs by redshirt junior Mia Fung, and one by sophomore Brooke Hartman. Hartman has hit a home run in four of her last six games. Senior Lauren Evans hit an RBI double in the second inning to get USF on the board scoring sophomore AnaMarie Bruni. In the third inning, Hartman hit the first homerun of the day, and Fung followed with a 2-run shot over the left field fence. Fung racked up five total RBI when she went just shy of a grand-slam with a blast over the left field fence.

Drake 4, UConn 1
Facing a 4-0 deficit in the seventh inning, UConn rallied in the seventh inning against Drake – plating a run and loading the bases – but ultimately falling short in the first game of the day in the Oklahoma State Hall of Fame Classic. Freshman Samantha Barnett reached on a fielding error by the shortstop in the final frame, scoring redshirt freshman Olivia Sappington from third and putting UConn on the board. However, the Huskies left the bases loaded to end the game. Junior pitcher Jill Stockley (2-6) turned in a solid effort in the circle, allowing just one earned run while scattering nine hits in six innings of work. She picked up four strikeouts, while stranding six runners on base, including five in scoring position.

UCF 3, Chattanooga 1
Chattanooga drew first blood stringing together a pair of hits to go up 1-0 on the Knights. UCF quickly answered in the second after Brewer hammered a ball over the left field fence to even up the score. Alea White and the defense shut down the Mocs for the rest of the game and the Knights' offense tacked on two more runs in the fourth inning after Klarkowski delivered a single up the middle scoring Kendyl Lange. Klarkowski then came around to score on a Chattanooga miscue to make the final score 3-1.White threw a complete game giving up just four hits and fanning six Mocs for her eleventh win of the season.

USF 3, Army 2
The Bulls and the Black Knights (2-11) went to eight innings on Friday night. Senior Hannah Parker tossed a complete game and fanned nine for her third win of the season. USF scored two in the first inning with a single to right field by senior Amber Atkinson. Army responded with a pair of singles and a fielder's choice that scored one. In the top of the seventh inning the Black Knights got the equalizer with a home run over left center. USF's defense stayed extremely tight in the top of the eighth inning. Fung ran a long way for an incredible catch in right field to catch the second out, and Parker struck out the final batter to get USF back to the plate. Haynes started at second for USF, and advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Evans. Donovan got the game-winning RBI when she knocked in a fielder's choice that scored Haynes.

UConn 9, Pacific 0
The Huskies scored a season-high nine runs and recorded seven extra-base hits against Pacific, cruising to a 9-0 win in five innings on Friday. Guevarra led the way with three hits, while three different players recorded multiple RBI. Olson (4-4) was strong for UConn, posting a complete-game shutout over the Tigers, while the Husky bats did the rest. She helped the offensive cause as well, recording her first two hits of the season and picking up an RBI. Sophomore Chloe Kerns added a pair of RBI, while sophomore Carli Cutler went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs scored out of the leadoff spot. UConn scored in each inning of the game – using a four-run fifth inning to extend the lead to nine. Doubles by sophomore Kiwi McDaniel, Cutler and Guevarra led the spark, building on an already 5-0 advantage.

Memphis 12, Mississippi Valley State 1
Seven runs in the bottom of the first inning against Mississippi Valley State gave freshman pitcher Mariah Nichols a cushion when she went back out in the circle. Nichols pitched a complete game for the Tigers and finished with a career-high 10 strikeouts as she improved to 5-2 on the year. Memphis capitalized and scored early and often in the bottom half of the first inning. The first seven batters reached base safely and accounted for four hits, a pair of walks and a hit by pitch. Two more singles in the inning by Kyler Trosclair Klatt and Baylee Smith put Memphis at six total hits in the inning and seven runs scored to open up the lasting lead.

Lipscomb 3, Houston 2
In the circle, junior Savannah Heebner fell to 7-2. The native of Sedalia, Colo., held Lipscomb to just four hits across a career-high nine innings pitched. Heebner allowed three runs (one earned) while walking one and striking out nine. With international tiebreaker in effect, the Lady Bisons plated one run on a throwing error in the top of the eighth to score the first run of the game. In the bottom frame, Houston answered with a run of its own to keep the game alive. With senior shortstop Maria Garcia placed on second, junior catcher Brooke Vannoyadvanced her to third with a sacrifice bunt before James delivered her with a two-out single to center field. In the ninth, Lipscomb hit a two-run home run to take a 3-1 advantage, and Thomas scored on a passed ball in the bottom frame for the 3-2 final.

UCF 9, St.Joseph's 1
The Knights' bats continued to heat up against St. Joseph's as UCF recorded 12 hits and run-ruled the Hawks by crossing the plate nine times in five innings to St. Joseph's lone run. UCF had a four-run second inning collecting six singles. Cassady Brewer, Aubrey Johnson, Kyra Klarkowski, and Jazmine Esparza hit four straight singles to score a run and load the bases for Tamesha Glover. Glover drew a bases loaded walk to put the Knights up, 2-0. Brooke Barlow stepped in the box and singled through the right side to drive in Glover and Esparza to make it 4-0.The Knights momentum continued in the third after Johnson blasted a shot over the left field wall for two RBI. Klarkowski then ripped another singled and was able to score after a St. Joseph's error to make it 7-0. The UCF offense registered two more runs to the fourth and the fifth to run-rule the Hawks for their 15^th victory of the season. Kamryn Toney got the start in the circle and went 4.1 innings giving up only one run to improve to 2-2 on the season.

ECU 13, Arkansas-Pine Bluff 2
The Golden Lions threatened in the bottom of the third, loading the bases on three singles, but freshman RHP Erin Poepping struck out the next three batters to keep the contest scoreless. The Pirates capitalized in the top of the fourth, scoring four runs on three hits and three UAPB errors to seize control. The Golden Lions fought back in the bottom of the frame, using small ball to eventually plate a pair of runs and cut the ECU lead to 4-2. Unfazed, the Pirates locked in at the plate and exploded for nine runs on seven hits, including a grand slam by senior infielder Meredith Burroughs, to break the game wide open and take a 13-2 advantage. Poepping retired UAPB in order in the home half of the fifth inning to complete the run-rule victory.

Memphis 13, Butler 0
Five runs in the second and third inning against Butler once again gave Memphis a cushion both offensively and defensively. In the circle for Memphis, Molly Smith hurled her second no-hitter of the season with nine strikeouts. With two outs, Memphis loaded the bases for Addison Maxwell in the bottom of the second. Maxwell delivered her first triple of the season to up the Memphis lead to 4-0 over the Bulldogs. The Tigers first scored Jessie Lamb on a single up the middle by Kyler Trosclair Klatt. The Tigers added five in the third and three in the fourth for the shutout.

BYU 6, ECU 3
BYU started the scoring right away as Rylee Jensen led off the game with a home run to center field. The Cougars added a run off a sacrifice fly to lead 2-0 moving to the bottom of the first. ECU pulled a run back in the bottom of the second thanks to a RBI single by sophomore infielder Kendra Ziemba and redshirt junior RHP Ashley Cruise worked out of a bases-loaded jam in the top of the third to keep the BYU lead at 2-1. The Pirates found the tying run with two outs in the bottom of the fifth when redshirt sophomore infielder Tate McClellan deposited a single into shallow right field that scored freshman infielder Ashleigh Inae from second base. ECU had a chance to win the game in the bottom of the seventh with Inae in scoring position with one out, but a strikeout and fly out sent the game to extra innings. Under the international tiebreaker rules, the Cougars out-scored the Pirates 4-1 to earn the victory.
