PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Houston senior Michael Perras was named the American Athletic Conference Men's Golf Player of the Week on Wednesday after finishing in a tie for seventh at the Aggie Invitational on April 7-8.

Playing at the Traditions Golf Club in Bryan, Texas, Perras fired rounds of par or better in each of the last two rounds to climb the leaderboard, finishing with an even-par score of 216 (74-72-70 – 216).
