Highlights
Eleven American Athletic Conference track and field teams cmpeted this week, as personal records, top finishes, meet records, and school records highlighted the action. 

- Cincinnati recorded seven total all-time Top 10 marks in program history while posting 32 total personal-best marks at the Tennessee Relays for Cincinnati at the 51st installment of the meet conducted at Tom Black Track in Knoxville, Tenn.
 
- ECU carried the momentum from winning its home meet a week ago into this weekend's Aggie Invitational, posting 11 event victories at Aggie Stadium on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University.
 
-  Houston’s Taylor Scaife topped her own mark for the third time this season, when her fourth attempt traveled 204-7 (62.37m) to place her fourth at the Texas Invitational. That mark moves Scaife into 15th on the NCAA list this year. Mario Burke followed on the track with one of the top performances of the day in the 100-meter dash. Burke clocked the 16th-fastest time in the NCAA this season in the 100, when he crossed the line in a wind-aided 10.28 to finish second overall and first among collegiate competitor.
 
- Memphis' Saida Burns-Moore set a school record and Davon DeMoss took home three titles to lead the Tigers in second-day action at Ole Miss' Joe Walker Invitational Saturday. Burns-Moore won the women's high jump crown with a school-record setting 5-10.5 (1.79m) mark. She broke the 11-year-old record of 5-10 (1.78m) held by Chen Edri. DeMoss won the men's 100 meters and also ran legs on Memphis' 4x100 and 4x400 relays that posted first-place finishes. He won the men's 200 meters Friday. It is the first time in his career that DeMoss won four titles at the same meet.
 
- USF enjoyed an exciting Friday at the Tom Jones Memorial in Gainesville that included a new USF record in the men's pole vault by David Bell and 11 total marks on the USF outdoor top-10 charts. Bell won the pole vault with a mark of 17-7.00, taking the school record by 2.75 feet.
 
- Tulane’s Jessica Duckett took first place in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.54 (+2.0 m/s), setting a new meet record in the process, to headline Tulane track and field's performance at the Southeastern Strawberry Relays on Friday at the Southeastern Track Complex. The Green Wave's women team earned a second-place finish with 143 points while the men's team finished fourth with 47 points. Duckett stole the show in the women's 100m hurdles, claiming first place with her time of 13.54 (+2.0 m/s).
 
- Tulsa’s Carsyn Spurgeon won the women's heptathlon with a total of 4,520 points on Saturday at the John McDonnell Invitational hosted by Arkansas. In the 200-meters, Spurgeon recorded a time of 25.29. She ran the 800-meters in 2:49.06 and added a 15.66 time in the 100-meter hurdles. In the high jump, she posted a jump of 1.54 meters (5-00.50) and added a leap of 5.60 meters (18-04.50) in the long jump. In the shot put she posted a toss of 10.00 meters (32-09.75) and added a throw of 31.61 meters (103-08) in the javelin.
 
- Wichita State’s Jake Horsch won the K.T. Woodman decathlon with a score of 7,009, Wednesday afternoon at Cessna Stadium, which started on Tuesday and went through Saturday. Both the men’s and women’s teams swept multiple events, winning 14 total at the meet.
 
- The UConn men and women hosted and won the Northeast Challenge on Saturday afternoon at the George J. Sherman Family Sports Complex,. The men edged out Rhode Island for the team title. The Huskies came away with the title with 139.83 points, topping URI with 138.33. The women knocked off UAlbany to win their meet too. The Huskies earned 156 points for the win. The women also competed at the Miami Invitational, winning the javelin and the 800-meter run. The men four events and posting several season-best results on the weekend.
 
- The Knights started the day strong in the field events, turning in PRs in the discus, pole vault, long jump and hammer throw in Gainesville, improving marks in almost every event at the Tom Jones Memorial at the Percy Beard Track on Friday. UCF took two of the top three spots in the hammer throw. On her last attempt of the finals, Jhane' Carter's throw landed at 189-10/57.86m, giving her second place with a new personal record. Gabby Durant finished third with a distance of 186-4/56.79m.
 
- Millie Howard broke Temple’s 800-meter run record, as the Owls hosted their first-ever home meet at the Temple Sports Complex. Three other Owls earned first-place finishes with seven reaching personal best marks or times on their home turf.
