The American Athletic Conference is represented with six former student-athletes on three of the eight teams in the 2018 WNBA Playoffs.
UConn, USF and former member Rutgers are each represented on the respective playoff rosters, highlighted by Breanna Stewart, who was named the Associated Press WNBA Player of the Year on Tuesday afternoon.
The 2018 WNBA Playoffs open on Tuesday, August 21, with two first round matchups: Dallas at Washington (7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2) and Minnesota at Los Angeles (9:30 p.m. CT on ESPN2). Washington and Conecticut take on the winners in the second round, with Seattle and Atlanta awaiting the results for semifinal matchups.
