PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference women's soccer week three awards were highlighted by UCF after the Bulls earned their first win of the season in strong defensive fashion with a 2-0 victory over Miami (Fla.).

Offensive Player of the Week
Jessica Lisi * Jr. * MF * Memphis
Lisi netted one of the biggest goals of the young season as her extra time strike proved the difference for the 3-1-0 Tigers last week. She scored the golden goal in the Tigers' 1-0 shutout, overtime win against UAB last Thursday. The junior tallied four shots, with two on target, in the Tigers' 24-shot effort. Lisi's goal was her third of the season.

Defensive Player of the Week
Emily Tipton * Sr. * D * UCF
Tipton has become an important part of the back line for UCF as she earned her third start of the season last week. She helped hold Miami to just five shots in the victory over the Hurricane. It was UCF's first shutout victory of the 2018 campaign.

Goalkeeper of the Week
Vera Varis * Sr. * UCF
Varis kept Miami (Fla.) off the scoreboard and snared four saves for the Bulls. The senior also snatched several balls before Miami was able to put them on frame. Varis and the UCF defense limited Miami to just five shots in the contest.

Rookie of the Week
Mia Darden * Fr. * F * Tulsa
Darden scored two goals for Tulsa in a 4-1 win over Sam Houston State. She scored in the 8^th and 57^th minutes for the first and third goals for TU. Darden also added one shot, which was on goal, in an overtime loss against Arkansas State.

Netted the game-winning goal in UCF's win over Miami (Fla.)

Made four saves for her first shutout of the year against Richmond; added six saves against George Mason.
Evelyne Viens * Jr. * F * USF
Viens scored two goals for the Bulls against Towson on Thursday and had one assist
Emma Wilkins * So. * MF * Temple
Scored in both games for Temple including a win over Maryland
