Entering the 2019 American softball season we're taking a look at each team around the league. The UCF Knights will play 33 home games in 2019 and begin the season on February 7 by hosting Ole Miss as part of tournament play.

-UCF returns all but two starters from 2018, including outfielder Denali Schappacher, an All-Rookie team member who had a team-high .340 average & 30 runs scored last year.

-Junior Alea White returns in the circle after tossing a conference-high 266 innings with 175 strikeouts and 25 wins in 2018.

-Catcher Cassady Brewer (.338 avg) returns following a first-team All-Conference season, as does infielder Aubrey Johnson, who had a team-high 27 RBI in 2018.
