PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s soccer honors for the seventh week of the 2019 season.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tori Riggs · Jr. · F · ECU
Riggs scored a pair of goals last week, including the game-winning goal against Tulsa. She also scored the Pirates’ lone goal against No. 8 Memphis in a 1-1 draw.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Stasia Mallin · Sr. · D · Memphis
Mallin anchored a Memphis backline that only allowed four shots on goal in two matches. The Tigers did not allow a shot on goal against Tulsa in a 3-0 shutout. Mallin also provided two assists.
GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK
Melanie Stiles · Jr. · GK · ECU
Stiles recorded 14 saves in two matches with only one goal allowed. The junior made 10 saves in a 1-1 draw with No. 8 Memphis and recorded four saves in a shutout of Tulsa.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Jordan scored the game-winning goal against SMU, who was receiving votes in the national coaches poll last week.
