PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s lacrosse honors, for the week ending Monday, Feb. 18.
Attacker of the Week
Lindsey Ronbeck * Sr. * Florida
Ronbeck registered two-thirds of Florida’s goals against No. 2 Maryland on Thursday, tallying eight in the Gators’ hard-fought 12-17 setback. The mark tied her career-high and her own program record for goals in a game, which she set in last season’s Big East tournament against Denver. Ronbeck posted a .480 shot percentage (8-for-14), with one of her scores coming on the free position, and gathered a pair of ground balls against the Terrapins.
Midfielder of the Week
Alyssa Adams * So. * Cincinnati
Adams put forth a breakout performance in Cincinnati’s 22-18 win over Marquette on Friday, supplying five goals on seven shots. That mark nearly doubled her previous career-high of three, and she converted on her lone free-position attempt on the game. Adams was crucial on the draw, leading Cincinnati with seven on the contest to set a new career-high.
Defensive Player of the Week
Haley Hicklen * GK * Sr. * Florida
Hicklen made 16 saves against No. 2 Maryland on Thursday, matching her career-high and her own program record for saves in a game. She posted a .490 save percentage and 13.00 goals against average with three ground balls despite the Gators’ 12-17 setback. With her final save of the contest, Hicklen tied the Florida program record for all-time saves, as she now owns 407 on her career.
Freshman of the Week
Bri Gross * M * Fr. * Vanderbilt
Gross continued her strong play to help Vanderbilt to a 2-0 start, scoring a goal and dishing out four assists for five points against Kennesaw State on Saturday. She picked up a pair of ground balls, collected a draw control and forced a turnover in the midfield as the Commodores cruised to a 20-11 win.

Erupted for six goals and two assists for a game-high eight points in the Bearcats’ 22-18 win over Marquette; converted on all six of her shots en route to career highs in points, goals and assists, adding a ground ball and causing a pair of turnovers
Olivia Thompson * A/M * Jr. * Temple
Led Temple to a 12-10 win over Rutgers on Wednesday, tallying a career- and game-high six goals; her final two goals proved to be key, tying the contest at 10-all before putting the Owls ahead for good with 2:18 remaining
Sophie Furlong * A * So. * Vanderbilt
Repeated as a honor roll nod with her second-straight five-goal game, leading Vanderbilt with five goals and an assist for six points in the Commodores’ 20-11 win over Kennesaw State
