PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league's weekly women's golf honors for the first week of the spring golf season.
WOMEN'S GOLF PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Leonie Harm - Houston - Sr. - Gerlingen, Germany
Harm, who is up to No. 15 nationally in the latest Golfstat rankings, started her spring season in impressive fashion with a win at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Championship. The senior carded three rounds all under 75 at English Turn Golf & Country Club, including a second round 69. She led the Cougars with 15 birdies over three days and paced Houston to a sixth-place team finish. She bested 92 other golfers in a field of 18 teams that featured 13 of the nation's top-50 programs.
Elizabeth Moon - UCF - Fr. - Forrest City, Ark.
Moon has now cracked the Golfstat Top-100 rankings after a strong start to her first season in Orlando. The freshman posted three top-10 finishes including a win at the Florida Challenge at Tampa Palms Country Club. She followed up her victory with a ninth-place finish in the UCF Challenge where she defeated 10 other golfers who were ranked in the top-100. Finally, she led the Knights to a team victory at the Moon Golf Invitational at Duran Golf Club with a ninth-place individual finish. In seven rounds played to start the season she carded just one over par ( 1).

ECU junior Dorthea Forbrigd tied for the win at the Puerto Rico Classic as her three-round 209 is ranked for the fifth-lowest score in program history ... Tulsa Freshman Lorena Tseng built on a strong fall with a third-place finish at the Texas State Invitational as the Golden Hurricane finished third overall.
