Tulsa’s Neal and UCF's White Collect Weekly Softball Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly softball honors for the seventh week of the 2019 season.
 
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Morgan Neal · Sr. · INF · Tulsa
Morgan Neal helped Tulsa to a 3-1 week, which included a win over No. 21 Oklahoma State and an American series victory at USF. Neal hit .467 with two runs scored, a double, triple, stolen base and three RBI. She had three multi-hit outings and went 3-for-5 with two runs scored, two RBI and a triple in Game 2 of the series with the Bulls. 

AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Alea White · Jr. ·RHP · UCF
White went 3-0 in three appearances to lead the Knights to a series sweep over UConn to start American play as part of a 4-0 week overall. She tossed 18 innings, allowing eight hits and one run while striking out 18 batters.
 
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tamesha Glover · Jr. · INF · UCF
Glover hit .400 last week with each of her hits going for doubles. She drove in two runs and scored four times while stealing two bases as UCF opened American play with a sweep of UConn.
 
Sarah Barker · Sr. · OF · Houston
Barker hit .500 with a triple and a home run last week, posting a pair of multi-hit games. She drove in six runs and also scored six times as Houston went on the road for a series win at Wichita State to start conference play.

Baylee Smith · So. · UTL · Memphis
Smith finished last week on a four-game hitting streak, registering a hit in every game. She hit .417 with a double and team-leading seven runs scored, adding a pair of stolen bases as Memphis began its American schedule with a series win over ECU.
 
Chenise Delse · Fr. · RHP · Tulsa
Delce went 2-0 last week with wins over No. 21 Oklahoma State and USF as Tulsa opened American play with a series win. She allowed six hits and one run in 12.2 innings, striking out 12 batters.
 
Ryleigh Buck· Jr. · INF · Wichita State
Buck hit .667 last week with a pair of doubles and a home run while driving in five RBI. She recorded three multi-hit games, including two against Houston to open conference play.
