Memphis 3, UConn 1
Memphis rebounded to take game three against UConn Sunday afternoon, using home runs from Ashley Threatt and Sara Ann Davidson on the way to a 3-1 victory. Threatt got the Tigers on the board with her sixth home run of the year in the first inning before Davidson connected on her second home run of the season in the fourth inning. Kailey Hilderbrand picked up her first collegiate win, tossing a complete 7.0 innings and allowing one run on five hits, striking out two Huskies.

UConn finished with five hits, including Carli Cutler homer in the seventh inning to trim Memphis' lead to 3-1. Alexis Lemus followed with a single and Ashlee Dahman reached on an error – but the Huskies left both on base to end the game. Reese Guevarra tallied two hits, the only player on either side with a multi-hit afternoon. Marybeth Olson took the loss, allowing three runs (two earned) on four hits with four strikeouts.

Wichita State 2, UCF 1
Madison Perrigan’s solo home run in the top of the sixth inning proved to be the difference on Sunday afternoon as visiting Wichita State defeated UCF 2-1 to win the weekend American series. Mauriana Jamele and Kaylee Huecker each had two hits for the Shockers, while Erin McDonald came up with her eighth win of the season after pitching another complete game and holding UCF to three hits.

The Knights struck first as Denali Schappacher stole home to put the home squad up 1-0 in the first inning, but would only add two more hits – from Karissa Ornelas and Erin Emanuel – as Alea White  gave up two runs on nine hits with three strikeouts in a complete-game loss.

USF 3, ECU 2 (8 innings)
USF secured its second straight sweep with a 3-2 walk-off win in extra innings against ECU on Sunday afternoon. The Bulls improve to 7-2 in conference play with six straight wins. Scoreless through five innings, each team scored two runs in their halves of the sixth to send the game to extras and set up the eighth inning walkoff.  Lindsey Devitt finished with two hits and two RBI, the only player on either side with multiple hits. Georgina Corrick earned the win, tossing all eight innings and striking out nine while allowing three hits and the two runs.

Erin Poepping took the tough-luck loss, tossing 7.2 innings and allowing just two earned runs on seven hits. Logan Wood notched a hit and drove in both of the Pirates' runs while Tyler King and Rachel McCollum also produced a base hit.
