Highlights
 
-Cincinnati kicked off the spring semester at the Jim Green Invitational in Lexington, Kentucky, on Friday and Saturday. Rachel Coghill posted a season best in the pole vault by clearing 3.85m (12-07.50) for second place, and Sam Meece turned in a third-place effort of 19.32m (63-04.75) in the men’s weight throw on Friday. Aaron Bienenfeld opened his track season on Saturday as the runner-up in the mile, logging a PR of 4:07.17 for the Bearcats. Austin Goolsby added a second-place result in the pole vault (5.05m, 16-06.75), and Arthur Greenlee IV was third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 7.84. Irati Mitxelena claimed the women’s triple jump title with an effort of 12.79m (41-11.50) that was a season best, Malin Smith was second in the shot put with a top effort of 15.57m (51-01.00) and Maddie Walker placed third in the 3000-meter run with a PR time of 9:55.27.
 
-USF traveled to Birmingham, Alabama, for a pair of meets at UAB at the Birmingham CrossPlex. In Friday’s UAB Blazer Invitational, Stone Baker placed second in the men’s pole vault with a height of 5.10m (16-8.75). Adriana Janic earned a runner-up finish in the women’s 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.52. Stephanie Lambeth finished fourth in the pole vault by clearing a height of 3.80m (12-5.50). On Saturday in the UAB Vulcan Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex, Baker added a fourth-place showing in the men’s pole vault (4.70m, 15-5.00) and Lambeth was also fourth in the women’s pole vault (3.80m, 12-5.50). Alexandra Weir took fifth place in the mile with a time of 5:09.07 for USF.
 
-UConn enjoyed a men’s team victory at Harvard’s Beantown Classic for the second straight season, while the Huskies placed second on the women’s side in Boston. Kyle Brackman took the win in the mile for UConn with a time of 4:11.30, while Aaron Hackett won the 200-meter dash in 21.79. Wellington Ventura won the 500-meter dash with a time of 1:04.07, and Cameron Thompson (weight throw, 18.51m, 60-8.75) and Travis Snyder (pole vault, 5.20m, 17-0.75) added field wins for the Huskies. In women’s competition, Mia Nahom was the sole UConn winner with a time of 4:58.80 in the mile.
 
-ECU began the 2020 indoor season with a solid performance at the Dick Taylor Carolina Challenge in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Melicia Mouzzon claimed victory in the 60-meter dash with a winning time of 7.42, the third-fastest in school history, and Mackenzie Whitaker added a win in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.09 for the Pirate women’s squad. Naomi Whitaker placed second in the 60-meter hurdles (8.68) and Brooke Stith added a runner-up showing in the long jump (5.79m, 19-00.00). Blake Matthews cleared 1.97m (6-05.50) in the high jump for third place in men’s action.
 
-Tulane returned to the track for its second meet of the season, claiming 12 total top-10 finishes during the LSU Purple Tiger in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Oneke Gwan earned an individual win in the 400-meter dash with a PR of 58.24, and Gwan helped guide the 4x400-meter relay to victory with a time of 3:51.96. Maren Butler finished fourth overall in the shot put with a top effort of 13.99m (45-10.75), and Kyah Loyd added a fourth-place result in the 60-meter hurdles (8.56).
 
-UCF took to the track for the first time this season while competing in the Clemson Orange and Purple Elite in Clemson, South Carolina. Shian Hyde crossed the finish line second in the 200-meter dash finals with a time of 23.37, which counted as the fourth-fastest time in program history. Victoria Jung placed third in the mile with a time of 5:03.00 for the Knights.
