Single-Session Tickets on Sale Friday for 2020 Women’s Basketball Championship

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Individual session tickets for the 2020 American Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Championship are set to go on sale Friday, Feb. 7.
 
The championship will take place March 6-9, 2020, with all games being played at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, for the seventh-consecutive season.
 
Individual session tickets are priced as follows:
 
Per-Session Basis

Session 1 March 6 Afternoon First Round Noon & 2 p.m. $15.00
Session 2 March 6 Evening First Round 6 & 8 p.m. $15.00
Session 3 March 7 Afternoon Quarterfinals Noon & 2 p.m. $25.00
Session 4 March 7 Evening Quarterfinals 6 & 8 p.m. $25.00
Session 5 March 8 Semifinals 4 & 6:30 p.m. $40.00
Session 6 March 9 Championship 7 p.m. $40.00


 
Individual session tickets may be purchased at the Mohegan Sun Arena box office, which is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 10 a.m.- 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 12 p.m.- 8 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m.- 6 p.m. on Sunday.
 
Tickets may also be purchased online, at www.MoheganSun.com or www.Ticketmaster.com. Information on discounts for groups of 10 or more people is available through the Connecticut Sun Group Sales Department at (860) 862-4000.
 
Since The American’s inaugural season in 2013-14, all 12 women’s basketball programs have made at least one postseason appearance. The conference has earned 12 bids to the NCAA Championship and compiled a 43-11 record in the tournament, with six-time conference champion UConn claiming three national titles.
 
In addition to hosting The American Women’s Basketball Championship, Mohegan Sun Arena is home to the WNBA’s Connecticut Sun and the New England Black Wolves of the National Lacrosse League. The 10,000-seat arena has hosted championship boxing, college and professional men’s and women’s basketball, Davis Cup tennis, professional bull-riding and professional bowling. The WNBA All-Star Game has been played at Mohegan Sun Arena four times and the WNBA Draft has been held at the arena three times.
