Gabe Watson had 13 points for Tulane (6-2, 1-2 American Athletic Conference). Jordan Walker added 10 points. Kevin Cross had seven rebounds.
Brandon Suggs had 14 points and eight rebounds for the Pirates (7-2, 1-2). J.J. Miles added 11 points. Jayden Gardner had seven rebounds.
The Green Wave leveled the season series against the Pirates and ended a six-game losing streak versus East Carolina with the win. East Carolina defeated Tulane 68-58 on Dec. 22.

CINCINNATI (AP) — Brandon Rachal had 25 points and 13 rebounds as Tulsa narrowly defeated Cincinnati 70-66 on Saturday.
Rey Idowu had 16 points for Tulsa (6-3, 3-1 American Athletic Conference), which won its fifth straight game.
Keith Williams had 18 points for the Bearcats (2-6, 0-3), whose losing streak reached five games. Jeremiah Davenport added 16 points and seven rebounds. Tari Eason had seven rebounds.

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — David Collins had 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists as South Florida topped Central Florida 68-61 on Saturday night.
Darius Perry scored a career-high 23 points and had six assists for the Knights (3-3, 1-2 American Athletic Conference). Darin Green Jr. added 14 points. Dre Fuller Jr. had eight rebounds.
Collins made seven free throws and now has 439 career free throws made, breaking the conference record previously held by B.J. Taylor (2014-19, UCF).
Wichita State 83, Ole Miss 79 -

OXFORD, Miss. – Tyson Etienne
scored a career-high 29 points to help Wichita State overcome Ole Miss, 83-79.
WSU (6-2) notched its fifth-straight win, and interim head coach Issac Brown improved to 3-0 in true road games.
Etienne made a season-high five threes and knocked down 8-of-9 at the foul line. He scored 19 in the second half, including 11-straight Shocker points over one stretch, to keep his team in the ballgame.
WSU trailed by seven points with less than 8:00 to play, but Etienne supplied six more points during an 11-2 burst. His NBA-range three gave the Shockers their first lead of the second half, 73-71, with 4:47 to play.
