IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference will host its 2021 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Media Days on October 13-14. The Media Days will be held virtually and available to fans exclusively on ESPN+.
College basketball announcers Kris Budden, Mike O’Donnell and Brooke Weisbrod will host the two-day event from The American’s state-of-the-art studio in Irving, Texas. The American’s Morgan Uber will provide additional coverage and analysis.
Coverage will begin Wednesday, October 13 at 11 a.m. ET on ESPN+ and continue on Thursday, October 14 at 10:30 a.m. ET on ESPN+. Head coaches and student-athletes from The American’s 22 men’s and women’s basketball teams will take part in scheduled media sessions. Commissioner Mike Aresco will deliver opening remarks to begin Wednesday’s session and will be available for questions from the media as well.
The list of participating student-athletes includes nine who earned all-conference honors in 2020-21. First-team honorees include Mia Davis of Temple, Kendric Davis of SMU, Landers Nolley II of Memphis and Player of the Year Tyson Etienne of Wichita State.
