IRVING, Texas - ESPN announced Sunday that College GameDay Built by The Home Depot will originate from Cincinnati, this weekend for a key American Athletic Conference game between the No. 2-ranked Bearcats and Tulsa, a rematch of the 2020 American Championship Game.
 
The Tulsa-Cincinnati is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday and will be televised nationally on ESPN2.
 
Coverage on Saturday will begin with Countdown to GameDay Live at 8:30 a.m. ET on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook and the ESPN App.
 
Sunday’s selection marks the first time that Cincinnati has been selected to host College GameDay. It is the ninth time that ESPN’s signature college football show has been centered on a game involving an American Athletic Conference team since the conference’s formation in 2013 and the third time that an American conference game has served as the centerpiece. The show was based in Philadelphia Oct. 31, 2015, when Temple hosted Notre Dame, has been onsite for the annual Army-Navy game six times since Navy joined The American, and was in Orlando, Florida, in 2018 for the Cincinnati-UCF matchup, and originated from Memphis, Tennessee, for the 2019 SMU-Memphis matchup.
 
American Athletic Conference schools have made a combined 15 appearances on College GameDay since the show’s introduction in 1993. Saturday’s production will be the second appearance for Cincinnati and the first for Tulsa.
