IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s volleyball honors, for the week ending Sunday, November 14.
Offensive Player of the Week
McKenna Melville * Sr. * OH * UCF
Melville continued impactful offensive play for UCF as the Knights maintained their lead atop the conference and extended their active winning streak to 11 matches. Melville paced The American with 5.67 points per set and ranked eighth overall with 4.67 digs per set in a 2-0 week. Melville hit .294 with 15 kills and 14 digs in a sweep of Memphis on Nov. 11. Melville added a .351 hitting percentage with 17 kills and 14 digs in straight sets against SMU on Nov. 13.
Defensive Player of the Week
Morgan Stout * Fr. * MB * Wichita State
Stout enjoyed a strong performance in the middle of the Wichita State defense during a 2-0 week, leading The American with 16 total blocks and 2.00 blocks per set. Stout chipped in 3.25 points per frame in the Shocker victories. Stout registered 11 total blocks (two solo) and hit .259 with 13 kills in a five-set triumph against Tulsa on Nov. 10.

Madison Waters * Jr. * OH * Cincinnati
Registered a .264 hitting percentage and 3.14 points per set for Cincinnati in a 1-1 road split; hit .276 with 13 kills in a win at Tulane (Nov. 12) and logged nine kills and six digs at Houston (Nov. 14)
Abbie Jackson * Jr. * OH * Houston
Was third in The American with 5.25 points per set for 2-0 Houston in a pair of home sweeps; hit a sterling .444 with 17 kills against East Carolina (Nov. 12) and logged 14 kills against Cincinnati (Nov. 14)
Marta Cvitkovic * Fr. * OH * South Florida
Ranked second in The American with 5.38 points per set to help South Florida to a 1-1 split in Tampa; hit .277 with 23 kills and 10 digs in a four-set triumph over Memphis (Nov. 13)
Rachel Woulfe * Sr. * OH * SMU
Hit. 407 with 4.57 points and 1.00 blocks per set in a 1-1 SMU week; exploded with a .541 hitting percentage, 20 kills and seven blocks (one solo) against South Florida (Nov. 11)
Kayley Cassaday * Jr. * OH * Tulsa
Logged the fourth-most points per set in the conference with 5.00 in a 1-1 Tulsa showing; registered 21 kills in five sets at Wichita State (Nov. 10) and hit .267 with 19 kills in a sweep of Temple (Nov. 14)
