IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly women’s volleyball honors, for the week ending Sunday, November 28.
Offensive Player of the Week
McKenna Melville * Sr. * OH * UCF
Melville’s closed the regular season with another stellar performance for UCF, helping the Knights finish the league slate at 19-1 with 15 straight victories. Melville led all American players for the week with 6.31 points per set and added 3.50 digs per frame over the team’s two wins. Melville contributed 19 kills and 13 digs to the UCF cause in a straight-set sweep of Tulane on Nov. 24. Melville played a major role in helping the Knights storm back from two sets down at Houston in the conference finale on Nov. 26, tallying 24 kills, 15 digs and eight total blocks (two solo) in a comeback victory.
Defensive Player of the Week
Nerissa Moravec * R-Sr. * MB * UCF
Moravec dominated at the net for UCF during the final conference weekend of her Knight career, leading The American with 2.12 blocks per set and 17 total blocks in a 2-0 week. Moravec hit .583 with eight kills and three total blocks in a sweep at Tulane on Nov. 24 before logging 14 total blocks in UCF’s five-set comeback win at Houston on Nov. 26 to cap the regular season.

Hit .488 to rank second in The American for the week and was fourth in the conference with 4.83 points per set for 2-0 Cincinnati; hit .435 with 13 kills in a sweep of East Carolina (Nov. 24) and .556 with 11 kills in three sets at Temple (Nov. 26)
Natalie Tyson * Sr. * OH * East Carolina
Ranked second in The American with 5.25 points per set and hit .404 to place seventh for East Carolina; logged 28 kills on .448 hitting with 13 digs in a five-set thriller at Temple (Nov. 27)
Rachel Tullos * Jr. * MB * Houston
Led The American with a .536 hitting percentage for the week and scored 2.50 points per set for 1-1 Houston; hit .750 with nine kills in a sweep of South Florida (Nov. 24) and added nine kills on .375 hitting in five sets against UCF (Nov. 26)
Jadyn Bauss * Jr. * OH * SMU
Was fourth in the conference in scoring with 4.83 points per frame in a 2-0 weekend for SMU; hit .327 with 22 kills and 18 digs in a four-set triumph at Tulsa (Nov. 26)
Natalie Foster * Fr. * MB/RS * Wichita State
Placed fifth in The American with a .452 hitting percentage and chipped in 4.17 points per set for Wichita State; registered 17 kills on .483 hitting in five sets against SMU (Nov. 24) and hit .424 with 18 kills in a win over Memphis (Nov. 26)
