IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winner of the league’s women’s golf player of the week honor, for the week ending Tuesday, Feb. 9.

Tseng powered the Tulsa lineup to a team tournament victory at the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 8-9 at the Plum Creek Golf Course in Kyle. The Golden Hurricane secured the team trophy with a 5-under-par score of 859 (282-284-293) in the 15-team field. Tseng was solo second with a three-round score of 204 (65-69-70, -12), one of just six players under par for the event. She blasted by the course average of 75.97 each round and notched an impressive stroke average of 2.87 (-2) on par-3s and 4.47 (-8) on par-5s at Plum Creek. Tseng ultimately finished second among all 79 individual players with 16 birdies during the tournament.
