South Florida advanced to its first Super Regional in program history in Monday action (June 7) in the 2021 NCAA Baseball Championship. The American has two programs reach the Super Regionals for the second time in league history (2014). East Carolina advanced to the Super Regionals Sunday night (June 6).

South Florida 6, South Alabama 4 (Game 2)
South Florida defeated South Alabama, 6-4, in the final game of the Gainesville Regional to advance to its first Super Regional in program history.
Down 2-0 in the top of the fourth, Jarrett Eaton hit a 2-run double to tie the game for the Bulls (31-28) and followed with an RBI single in the sixth inning to give South Florida a 3-2 lead.
Jake Sullivan drove in Roberto Pena with a sac fly in the eighth to extend the lead to 4-2 before South Alabama (36-22) pulled within one in the bottom of the frame.
Eaton scored on an error and Carmine Lane drove home Drew Brutcher to provide insurance runs for the Bulls.
Orion Kerkering (5-3) earned the win after pitching 4.1 innings of relief with only one run allowed. Joseph Sanchez earned his first save after getting the final two outs of the eighth with the bases loaded and only giving up one run in the ninth.
South Alabama 4, South Florida 0 (Game 1)
South Alabama won the first game of the day, 4-0, to force the final game of the regional. The game was halted Sunday night in the fifth inning due to inclement weather.
