Six American Athletic Conference student-athletes have been named to the 2021 Collegiate Baseball Freshmen All-American team, including Zach Agnos (East Carolina, 3B), Chase Engelhard (Tulane, 2B), Jace Kaminska (Wichita State, RHP), Carmine Lane (South Florida, OF), Bennett Lee (Tulane, C) and Zach Moylan (East Carolina, DH).
Agnos was a first-team all-conference member and is hitting .275 with six home runs and 43 runs driven in while aiding the Pirates to the Super Regionals.
Engelhard hit .299 with nine home runs and 51 runs driven in. The second baseman also stole 11 bases.
Kaminska was the American Athletic Conference Newcomer Pitcher of the Year a member of the all-conference first team. He was 8-1 with a 2.32 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 62.0 innings of work.
Lane, a first-team all-conference honoree, is hitting .315 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI and has helped lead the Bulls to their first Super Regional appearance.
Lee was a first-team all-conference selection and The American's Newcomer Position Player of the Year. He hit .4440 with six doubles, four home runs and 28 RBI in 34 games for the Green Wave.
Moylan, a member of the all-conference first team, is hitting .318 with five home runs and 37 runs driven in, helping the Pirates to the Super Regionals.
