TAMPA, Fla. -- (AP) — Marcus Weathers scored 17 points and Kendric Davis scored 13 points and grabbed six rebounds and SMU beat South Florida 74-54 on Wednesday night for its fourth straight win.
Emmanuel Bandoumel added 12 points for SMU (15-4, 6-1 American Athletic Conference)
Caleb Murphy scored 14 points, Jamir Chaplin scored 11 and Javon Greene had 10 points and six rebounds for the Bulls (6-12, 1-5).
SMU also defeated South Florida 77-65 on Jan. 12.

WICHITA, Kan. -- (AP) — Ricky Council IV had a career-high 31 points as Wichita State narrowly defeated UCF 84-79 on Wednesday night.
Council IV shot 16 for 20 from the line.
Morris Udeze had 16 points for Wichita State (10-7, 1-4 American Athletic Conference), which broke its four-game losing streak. Dexter Dennis added 13 points and six rebounds.
Tyson Etienne, the Shockers' leading scorer entering the contest at 14.0 points per game, was held to 5 points on 2-of-13 shooting.
Wichita State totaled 46 second-half points, a season high for the team.
Brandon Mahan had 20 points and 13 rebounds for the Knights (12-6, 4-4). Darius Johnson added 12 points. C.J. Walker had 11 points.
Tulane 97, Tulsa 63 -

NEW ORLEANS -- (AP) — Jaylen Forbes had 24 points as Tulane easily defeated Tulsa 97-63 on Wednesday night. Jalen Cook added 23 points for the Green Wave.
Forbes shot 6 for 8 on 3-pointers.
Kevin Cross had 15 points and eight rebounds for Tulane (8-9, 5-3 American Athletic Conference). DeVon Baker added 10 points.
The 97 points were a season best for Tulane, and it was the biggest league win for the Green Wave since joining The American.
Sam Griffin had 21 points for the Golden Hurricane (6-12, 0-7), who have now lost seven games in a row. Rey Idowu added 10 points. Nikita Konstantynovskyi had three blocks.
