TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Russel Tchewa’s 11 points helped South Florida defeat Dartmouth 59-55 on Friday night.
Tchewa added eight rebounds for the Bulls (5-6). Tyler Harris scored 10 points and added three steals. Selton Miguel shot 3 for 9, including 2 for 5 from beyond the arc to finish with eight points.
Dame Adelekun led the Big Green (4-9) in scoring, finishing with 19 points, seven rebounds, three steals and two blocks. Romeo Myrthil added 11 points and two steals for Dartmouth. Jaren Johnson also had nine points.
South Florida went into halftime ahead of Dartmouth 34-30. Tchewa put up eight points in the half. Sam Hines Jr. led South Florida with six second-half points.
Tulsa 66, Mississippi Valley State 51 - Box Score
TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Brandon Betson scored 15 points off the bench to guide Tulsa past Mississippi Valley State 66-51 on Friday night.
Betson shot 5 for 8 from beyond the arc for the Golden Hurricane (4-6). Anthony Pritchard went 6 of 8 from the field to add 13 points. Sam Griffin finished with 11 points.
Kadar Waller led the Delta Devils (1-11) with 12 points and eight rebounds. Mississippi Valley State also got nine points and three steals from Michael Barber. The loss was the Delta Devils’ seventh in a row.
Tulsa outscored Mississippi Valley State by 11 points over the final half, while Betson led the way with 12 second-half points.
