UCF defeated in-state rival South Florida in the only American Athletic Conference men's basketball game on Thursday, Feb. 3.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- UCF earned a season split with South Florida after picking up a 68-49 win at Addition Financial Arena. With the win UCF improved to 13-7 on the season and 5-5 in American Athletic Conference play, while South Florida fell to 6-14 (1-7). 

Darin Green Jr. led all scorers with 23 points for the Knights, including six 3-pointers, while Darius Perry had 20 points and five from behind the arc. UCF hit 14 3-pointers as a team and held South Florida to 15.4 percent from 3-point range (2-13).

Russel Tchewa led the Bulls with 13 points.
