KENNESAW, Ga. -- Midfielder Belle Mastropietro figured in seven goals and picked up the 100th point of her career as Temple rolled past Kennesaw State with a 19-11 win Wednesday afternoon.

Mastropietro scored four goals and three assists as the Owls bounced back from their first loss of the season to improve to 4-1 on the year. Mastropietro finished the game with 102 career points (81g, 20a).

Kennesaw State was able to close within four at the end of the third, but Temple got fourth-quarter goals from Hannah Schrader and Roth to make it 16-10 and the Owls answered a Kennesaw State goal a 3-0 run to close the game.

Temple finished with a 42-27 advantage in shots. Annie Carroll made five saves for the Owls.

LIBERTY 18, OLD DOMINION 7
LYCHBURG, Va. -- An early 9-0 run was too much for Old Dominion to overcome as the Monarchs fell 18-7 to Liberty Wednesday afternoon at the LU Lacrosse Field.

Liberty finished with a 43-19 advantage in shots and a 23-9 edge in ground balls to improve to 2-2, while Old Dominion fell to 2-4.

Seven different players accounted for Old Dominion's seven goals. Lilly Siskind led the Monarchs with a goal and two assists.

After spotting the Flames an 8-0 lead after the first quarter, Old Dominion played Liberty evenly through the second and third quaters. A 3-0 Monarch run through the third and fourth periods brought ODU within striking distance, but the Flames scored five of the game's last six goals to put it out of reach.

Jenna Peccia made 16 saves for the Monarchs. Liberty was led by Cami Merkel, who had five goals.
