IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of its weekly women’s lacrosse honors for the week-ending March 20.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE ATTACK PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Danielle Pavinelli • So. • Florida • Northport, N.Y.
Pavinelli scored six goals with two assists to go with two ground balls, a draw control and a caused turnover in two wins for Florida. She began the week by leading all scorers with four goals and two assists in a 14-10 win against No. 3 Syracuse. She followed with a two-goal performance in a 10-9 win at Drexel. After Florida had tied the game with one minute left in regulation, Pavinelli had the ensuing draw control before scoring the gamewinner with 18 seconds left. Pavinelli leads the Gators with 28 goals and 37 points in 2022.
AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE MIDFIELDER OF THE WEEK
Bri Gross • Gr. • Vanderbilt • El Dorado Hills, Calif.
Gross led Vanderbilt to wins against Colgate (18-16) and Hofstra (12-9) by contributing at both ends of the field. She had a goal, two assists, six ground balls, six draw controls and three caused turnovers against the Raiders and followed with a goal, an assist, three ground balls, two draw controls and a caused turnover against the Pride. Gross leads the Commodores with 17 goals, 34 draw controls, 15 ground balls and 14 caused turnovers this season.

Reznick helped Florida to a pair of wins last week as she made a combined 19 saves in victories against No. 3 Syracuse and Drexel. She made 11 stops, including five in the fourth quarter, to lead the Gators to a 14-10 win against the Orange, limiting Syracuse to its lowest-scoring performance of the season. She made eight saves in a 10-9 win at Drexel, including five first-half stops that allowed Florida to build an 8-1 halftime lead. Reznick ranks second in The American with 7.75 saves per game and an 11.60 goals-against average.

Emma LoPinto • A • Fr. • Florida • Manhasset, N.Y.
LoPinto scored two goals with seven assists in a pair of wins as the Gators topped No. 3 Syracuse and Drexel. She had two goals with four assists in a 14-10 win against Syracuse and followed with three assists, including the feed on the tying goal with one minute remaining, in a 10-9 win at Drexel. LoPinto ranks sixth in The American in scoring with 18 goals and 14 assists in her freshman season.
