IRVING, Texas – The American Athletic Conference has announced the winners of the league’s weekly golf honors, for the competition week ending Tuesday, March 22.
 
Men’s Golf Players of the Week
Dawson Lewis * Jr. * Wichita State
Lewis shared third-place honors in the individual standings with teammate Lucas Scheufler as Wichita State placed third at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri on March 21-22. Lewis carded rounds of 66-72 to finish at 138 (-4) for two rounds, three shots off the tournament medalist. Lewis was the tournament leader with 10 birdies on the par-71, 6760-yard layout.
 
Lucas Scheufler * Fr. * Wichita State
Scheufler shared third-place honors in the individual standings with teammate Dawson Lewis for Wichita State to guide the Shockers to third place as a team at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate at Twin Oaks Country Club in Springfield, Missouri on March 21-22. Scheufler shot a two-day score of 65-73=138 (-4) over 36 holes to close the tournament three strokes off the pace on the par-71, 6760-yard track at Twin Oaks. Scheufler poured in an eagle and nine birdies during the week for Wichita State.
